Weird Fish

Weird Fish is a fun illustration of a strange fish in a beautiful fractal underwater landscape. Is he going to eat the little fish or chase it forever? Maybe they’re just friends chatting….

This illustration was inspired by my love of diving. So many times when being underwater I have seen strange little creatures and fishes and never cease to be amazed and fascinated by them.

Weird Fish – how I created it

Well, first I drew the fish onto my iPad, then created his underwater home using fractal software. In Photoshop, I arranged and layered the different fractal elements then transferred the resulting high-resolution background image to Adobe Fresco (a drawing application) and added the fish.

I will make this artwork available as a print soon.
